Comments
Comments: A loop over Bald and a side trip to Goodhue before the incoming rain.

Tamposi Trail is mostly dry with some wet / muddy areas near the summit and one stretch of running water. Bald Mountain Trail was mostly wet / muddy all the way down. The ledge viewpoints are dry though. Tudor Trail was mostly dry with some wet areas near the pond. Mill Pond Trail was dry. Goodhue Hill Trail was mostly dry. The logged area before the summit is grassy, and that's where I picked up the tick.

Nice views from the outlooks on Bald and at the pond. No views at the wooded summit. I contemplated checking out the dead-end Spur Trail on the way up, but it didn't look well-traveled, I heard the viewpoint wasn't that great, and I didn't want to reclimb it.

On Goodhue, it looks like most people stop at the boulder in the logged area, which is what I mistakenly did the first time I was here four years ago, but the trail continues into the woods, gets a bit vague as it descends slightly and then climbs briefly to an open ledge with a SW view. A few yards away the high point appears to be along a stone wall that goes right over the summit. A very faint flagged trail appears to continue past the summit along the wall to who knows where.
