As is apparent from the variety of surface conditions checked off above, a mixed bag. Needed everything today. Barebooted until we hit the ledges, then switched to spikes to Moriah summit. Snowshoed down to steeper ledges, when we switched back to spikes, which we removed after ledges and barebooted again. Snow still very deep up high. Saw a lot of postholes. |
