Open water in all brook crossings - but it is all pretty easy. |

Minor blowdowns on all trails (no problems). Big blowdown in Zeta Pass but trail is rerouted (no problems). |

All trails packed solidly. Used snowshoes most of the way (I like snowshoes for balance and traction) - microspikes on 19MBT. Microspikes would be okay on all trails. Carter-Moriah from Zeta Pass to the Dome is badly postholed - many are 2 ft. deep. Snowshoes seem best - no worries about tripping over the holes (Barebooters: Pls use snowshoes when snow is soft. It will help build trail instead of destroying it!) |
