| Comments: |
Snow and ice free, and amazingly dry with minimal mud on the Wapack Trail. Had wanted to try this way over to Noth Pack and our very late start/return to South Pack summit in dusk dictated the road walk, which was fast though not fun on descent with a tired legs.
Bummed that we didn’t feel we had enough time to do the Cliff Trail with its views. But the reward of a late start was catching the sunset across Grand Monadnock, and seeing Stratton, Equinox, Cardigan and even the Presi’s silhouetted, and gaining new perspective on life’s beauty as the fiery glow faded. |
