Comments
Comments: Nice morning loop over these two peaks. Gunstock Mountain Trail was generally dry with a little bit of mud here and there. Ridge trail was dry. Brook trail was very wet especially approaching the Gunstock-Belknap col and the Saddle Trail. Saddle Trail was wet and muddy as well. Blue Trail was drier with some minor mud. Upper sections of the Warden's Trail were very wet and muddy, down lower not so bad. Some ice remains on the Warden's Trail in the shaded areas and will likely be there for a while longer. Nothing that required traction and was easy enough to walk around. Carriage Road was dry and in good shape. Will likely be open to vehicle travel this week.
