 | Comments: |
Pretty wet conditions overall slowed down our pace. Ice/snow mix near the ridge junction. Made it up without traction navigating carefully around slippery places but used spikes for the way down to get by these places. One snow/ice section over a stream crossing was a little dicey but no problem with spikes. All of this may be gone in a few days. One minor stream crossing required a short well marked detour due to a deep trench cut by severe storms this past year. Near 100 mile views from both summits offering views in all directions. |
