| Water Crossing Notes: |
Two water crossings. One is easy enough to cross with rock hopping. The other has a log you can traverse to cross the stream. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple of minor blow downs but very easy to climb over. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Some steep and technical rock climbing. My 2.5 year old German Shepherd was able to do the hike without much difficulty. |

Mosquitoes were heavy around the trail head but no bug issues beyond that. |

| Comments: |
Beautiful day for a hike, weather was excellent making for phenomenal views from the summit. Hammond trail was not busy on the way up or down. A few groups were on the summit. |
