Any who hiked yesterday know that the weather was dynamite. The remaining ice is minimal enough to count and don't impact the trail. Blowdowns were not a concern. Slippery rock in some parts but that's typical. Ladder section was dry and easy to navigate. The observation tower was breezy but not windy and the sun was very warm, especially while enjoying lunch at the Profile clearing. Bluebird skies and Franconia Ridge was a delight. My # 8/48. |
