Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing on Dicey's Mill Tr. was easy rock step today if one did not want to cross on log.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Looks like WODC cleared up all the blowdowns on the Rollins Tr.. Greatly appreciated; lots of sawing done. Also started on Dicey's Mill with a large blowdown chopped in half. Couple remain up near summit. Talked with 2 couples who had both mistakenly gone up Passaconaway on the Walden side. Easy to miss turn if unfamiliar with jct.because large sign directs to Walden side while only a small paper sign directs to Dicey's Mill side.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only saw a few today. Blueberry Ledge could be tough for some and Rollins has a few spots with a significant drop off at edge of trail.
Bugs
Bugs: Steady winds and overcast kept them mostly away.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Trails 95% dry. Few wet sections on Dicey's Mill. Rollins was as good as I've seen it. Carried spikes but just a few patches of snow north of Whiteface; probably gone already. Lots of recent trail work.
