 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
room for a couple cars near the northern terminus of the trail. Sandwich Notch Road was a bit rough as usual. Took the side road to Hall Ponds on the way - super pretty!!! |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

 | Recommended Equipment: |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
no water crossings |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
ugh - mainly around 6 large blowdowns throughout the route - not sure of exact location. Also, blazes quite faded and missing in key areas - lost the trail quite a few times but was able to find within a few minutes each time. Glad I had my GPS tracker on so I could more easily find the trail on the way back. Trail appears to see little use north/east of Percival so it's a nice little adventure. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
no water available so plan accordingly |
|
 | Bugs: |
first DEET shower of the season - mosquitoes were horrible at the trailhead and near any of the boggy areas |

Terrific day for this 5.3 mile of trail (I did back & forth) - pretty tough trail - SO MANY FREAKING PUDS!!!! I had totally forgotten them - it has been a few years since hiking this part of the trail. Lots of fun outlooks. Only saw people between Morgan and Percival. |
