Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Long Pond Rd is easy with steady and gradual elevation gain. Road is deeply eroded on the upper section near trailhead. Blueberry Mt Tr is in good shape with some fading yellow blazes. Cairns on ledge section. No sign for summit spur.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs: Breeze kept them away but they are there in force.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Oil
Comments: Nice and easy hike. Once on ledges be sure to pay attention to cairns. The summit spur is not signed. When you think you are at the top there is a level spot where the trail narrows. Look for a boulder to left of trail that is about 4feet across. To the right about 3 feet away is a small cairn with green paint on it. That is the summit spur. It is only about 100 yards long. There will be 3 foundation pins arranged in a triangle shape on the open ledge. That is the summit.
