Black flies were vexing at times, but on the whole not too bad. There was a good breeze on the ski trails, so they were not an issue there. |

| Comments: |
Trails are mostly dry. Still two patches of snow near the bottom of the ski area, one of which is still a good dozen or so feet deep. Ski trail grass is getting longer (except on Green Peak; still taking root on new trails), so the gravel access road is smoother sailing. No strawberries yet, but they're starting to grow.
Nice and quiet in Waterville Valley, despite it being perhaps the pinnacle of motorcycle week. |
