The newer Hedgehog Rodge Trail makes for an excellent hike which will take a good part of the day to go the full length. I reccomend starting up the Woods Road (take care to follow flagging) and then following the Hedgehog Ridge Trail past viewpoints to the summit of Wilson Hill, where there is an excellent view from the meadow. Then retrace your steps on the Hedgehog Ridge Trail and continue past the Woods Road along the ridge, to the north summit of Hedgehog Mountain. Enjoy the view, then decend via the Hedgehog Mountain Trail. |
