Parking lot was full but no WMNF fees were being collected. |

No problems...just rock hop the rivers |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in excellent conditions. Descending from North Hancock there was a lot of erosion due to the steepness of the trail. |

Few dogs were out on the trail today. All were very well behaved. |

Some burs were out but overall were not an issue. |

| Comments: |
It was the first day of nice clear and dry weather after a week long heat wave. This brought many people to the trail.
The summits were over crowded and the outlooks full of people. Hikers should not try to "claim" the summit all to themselves
and should let everybody have their turn to take in the views. There were some that had "camped out" on the North Hancock outlook
while others could not get to the outlook to see the views. |
