This was our summer backpacking trip to the Bonds 2 weeks shy of Sasha’s 14th birthday. We have to break up the mileage now that she’s older and we stayed 2 nights at Guyot. The first day was out to Guyot tent site, They take credit cards! 2nd day was a rest day mostly hanging out on Bondcliff enjoying the scenery and great weather and the 3rd day was the trip back out with breakfast on Mt Guyot and more breakfast on South Twin. Stunning weather! Met another elder dog of 12 years at Galehead hut. Talked to some nice AT hikers. |
