|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Stillwater Junction, NH|
||Nancy Pond Trail, Carrigain Notch Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Sunday, July 8, 2018|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Room for several cars along 302. Only a couple there when we arrived, and departed.
We took Nancy Pond Tr. due to Sawyer River Rd being closed. Nice change of pace, but the trail between Nancy Cascade and Norcross Pond is quite rough. |
||Dry Trail |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||all easy rock hops. The Anderson, Norcross, and East Branch crossings could be difficult in higher water |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||All in good shape |
||great hike for Fido. |
||Some mosquitos around. We did resort to DEET on Sunday. |
|Lost and Found:
||Camping and trail work out by Stillwater Jct.|
The beaver dam at Norcross pond is washed out. The level of the pond has dropped by a couple of feet, back to what I remember the first time I was there. I wonder how long until another beaver moves in?
