Comments
Comments: started at 4:30am, got to the hut around 7am, Mount Washington around 8:40am and Mount Monroe around noon. We spent about an hour or so on Mount Washington before the crowds started to roll in. Trail was good, fairly steep from Gem Pool to Lake of Clouds Hut and moderate climb to Washington. It was super clear and sunny up until 8am, then clouds started to roll in and by the time we reached Washington it was kinda hazy but the clouds were above the peak so fortunately we were able to see quite a bit. We were lucky this round. This was our first time summiting Washington and last time I plan on hiking it. Monroe was nice and I would definitely consider hiking and staying at the Hut to do Monroe again. Good day and was done by 3pm.
