| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lot quite full at 11:30 on this beautiful Monday. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
One almost dry river bed at the start. Easy crossing. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Perhaps the best maintained trail I’ve hiked in the Whites. Trail improvements (steps, stepping stones, minor reroutes) were plentiful and well done. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of dogs on this trail. No problem for my young energetic pupper but an older dog might have a little trouble with the final ledgy section at the summit. Not much water (small puddles) after you diverge from the brook. |
| Bugs: |
Not bad at all. |
