Could be better marked on final peak area, especially final ascent and descent. Hiker rock markers help, but sometimes too vague. Two blowdown spots as others have noted. First, large trunk crossing path just above first switchback (at 2.4m) and second, broken logs past tree-line. |

A few dogs on the trail, some also reached Peak. All behaved, no leashes. |

Yes, flies lower down, mosquitoes by water, and assortment on the peak. But not overwhelming. |

Very few people early morning from parking to Falls branch off. 4 on peak at 11:20am, more on peak 12-1pm and met many more on way down between 1-3pm. Not easy climb for last leg on peak area. Strongly suggest proper boots for NH rocks, etc. Met many on way up with sneakers and sandals, not sure how they managed. Peak views clear and spectacular. |
