No issues; the brook at Watson Path crossing was easy. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Watson Path was in rough shape down low- Randolph Mountain Club had to post a temporary sign indicating where the trail went up the hillside because you wouldn't have known it was there. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
A few friendly pups out and about. Had their paws full with Watson Path, though- quite a scramble. |
|
| Bugs: |
A few black flies up above treeline, some small bees also, just ignored them. Not much wind today. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
A neckloop with a flashlight pendant was hanging on a tree branch on Valley Way. |

| Comments: |
Beautiful day. Watson Path was a butt-kicker of a trail- wanted to try for Adams today as well, but it took us too long to come up the back side of Madison where Watson approaches. Looking up and across at the ridge coming down Valley Way, it almost looked like Caps Ridge to Jefferson. Madison Hut had fresh baked bread, cookies; fresh lemonade and icy cold water to refill your Nalgene or other bottles. Not too crowded. |
