Nice hike to this peak on the New Hampshire Fire Tower List. This adventure started off on Deer Mountain Trail, it’s a nice moderate grade in nice woods following stream, waterfalls and past a swamp area.
While hiking along we noticed a moose bone on the edge of the trail, so we jumped off to do a little exploring and ended up finding most of the skeleton. After checking that out we jumped back on the trail and soon hit the summit and fire tower. |
