 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
One can now drive up to where the lodge is, now that major construction is complete. We got there around 10:00 AM and had to park about .25 mile from the lodge alongside the left side of the road while driving in. Once we finished around 4:00 PM parked vehicles continued past our truck for another .25 mile. |

Started at 10, and it appears everyone was ahead of us so we encountered few people on the ascent. Trails were generally dry. Caught up to everyone on a crowded summit. Lots of mountain sandwort in the alpine areas. Nice weather. Nice cool breeze on the summit and ridge. Excellent views! |
