Comments
Comments: Nice loop over Gunstock. GMT was mainly dry down low with a sizable mud pit right at the beginning. Much more water and mud above the Winter Short Cut. Lots of new work on the Ridge Trail by BRATTS. Summit was cool with a nice breeze and a few people coming and going for the zip line. Brook Trail below the Ridge Trail was very wet and things dried out a bit once on the Saddle Trail. Blue Trail was in good shape with a lot of recent work having been done. Once back at the Carriage Road, we picked up a herd path that I have been looking at for a while but hadn't taken yet. It follows closely to the brook cutting off a few of the switchbacks on the road.
