| Comments: |
Castle Trail is beautiful and fun for a Terrifying 25. Scrambles were not too bad. Some rocky ledges were a tad wet from rain the day before. No mishaps.
Winds were nice at 20 mph. Emerald Bluff was such a pleasant surprise with great views of Castle Ridge and Castle Ravine. Felt like a fall hike.
Beware - our group disturbed a ground bees nest on Israel Ridge trail at about 2300'. We were swarmed and four hikers were stung multiple times. |
