Comments
Comments: Caps Ridge might be my new favorite trail. It is steep and rugged, with some two- handed scrambling in the middle portion. You break treeline in about a mile and have views the rest of the hike There are still loads more hikers than in western Maine, but compared to doing Washington last week, the crowds were small. 8 hours above treeline on a beautiful day made for a spectacular day of hiking.
