Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The Thoreau Falls Bridge is closed, but I was able to rock hop across just on the East side of the bridge. The water is currently low, but this will be difficult to do a good majority of the year.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails are in good shape. For the Thoreau Falls Trail, I removed a few small blow downs and did some brushing as I was passing thru. The trail definitely needs more brushing, which I hope to do in a few weeks.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of friendly dogs out having fun.

Comments
Comments: The Thoreau Falls Bridge is permanently closed and they have already started removing it (about 25% of it has been removed). The FS did a good job with placing large signs at the beginning of the Lincoln Woods and East Side Trails warning hikers about the bridge closure/removal.
