Great trail; sorry that it took me so many decades to hike it. Friend heading south helped spot my vehicle at eastern end next to gate on Long Pond Road off High Street, just down hill from Glencliff trailhead on Moosilauke, before dropping me off at western end east of Lime Kiln Road. Long Pond Road still closed for repairs to damage from last Halloween's storm. Over a half mile of ledges across summit area with lots of red pine and low bush blueberries, which are still prolific. No bears seen. |
