| Water Crossing Notes: |
We stayed on the east side (the side the trail starts on) and only crossed at the third water crossing. There's a cairn and sign with the hiker icon on the west bank at the third crossing. This east side trail is very well-worn and easy to follow. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Much of the North Twin Trail was damp and muddy. This forced us to take our time especially on the descent. Spur Trail was far drier. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
The one pup we saw looked happy. |
| Bugs: |
A few in the parking lot, none on the hike. |

| Comments: |
Plenty of hikers on South Twin but we met very few on the way up and down. |
