 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
It was a slow and bumpy 5.4 mile drive in on Success Pond Road in my lcv. Everyone has to park at the trailhead on this road now; a large boulder blocks the logging road and the undermined culvert that could ruin a vehicle. From here you reach the fork almost immediately and the field a little while later. There are signs and things are pretty straightforward. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The following make this a better hike for dry weather than for wet weather: the drive in, moss-covered angled ledge in the trail, bog bridges, mud pits, soggy wet areas, one "exciting" rock scramble and many other rocks that could be scrambled up and down. It was a dry day and the views were exceptional. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Be extra careful around the edges of the ledges at The Overlook guys. |
|
 | Bugs: |
A few at the trailhead, and not many more. |

 | Comments: |
Most of the many bog bridges are in fantastic shape. There are plenty of places left that could use some more and/or rock work but resources may be limited. A few of the bog bridges are headed toward the end of their useful life. |
