Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Using the Sandwich Notch Road to the trailhead would be a challenge with a car. I had an FJ Cruiser with 4WD and high clearance so no problems here. The trailhead might have enough space for three cars.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All brooks were passable by rock hopping. However the rocks were slippery and one of us fell when placing our feet on one of them.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There was a large tree down before the conifer forest that everyone seems to be going around.

Comments
Comments: No views today because of fog hanging on the summit. Algonquin Trail offers a bit of everything: beautiful hardwoods, conifer forests, fiery green moss, rock scrambling, and open ledges. It's a trail that keeps on giving.
