Parking/Access Road Notes: Park in clearing. Only car there at 8 a.m. 4 cars at noon with plenty of space.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Pond near trailhead is overflowing onto Old Stage Rd. Stay to the extreme left and you should be able to cross without getting wet. Other stream crossings no problem. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Red trail is fine. Blue trail had a couple of blowdowns which could be stepped over. One large blowdown lias right in center of trail at N43deg29.297 min W71 deg 19.382 min

Bugs
Bugs: lot and lots of mosquitoes. DEET kept them from biting but they were still annoying.
