Comments
Comments: Did some more redlining, I listed the trails in the order I took them.
I find it intriguing peeking thru the trees off of the North Straightback Link over at the Mt. Major peak, which was dotted with tourists. I see you, but you don't see me! I also liked the building anticipation, as I walked past the cairns that mark the entrance to Precipice Path, the trail which I'm saving for last. The cairns, arranged like an aisle with their little purple topped stones, reminded me of the entrance to a movie or a play. You know, I started hiking the Belknaps to train for this winter's 4000 footers, but over the past couple months I've come to love this range. Once you get so you can power up and then back down through two or three of the valleys and peaks, you realize the value of this type of conditioning, and the peace of mind that comes from spending so much time at ease, in an animalistic instinctive state of mind, is very satisfying.
