plenty of parking at Bricket Place which is a fee area, if you don't have a WMNF pass. just roadside parking for mt. meader trailhead. |

water levels were low enough that the three crossings on Royce trail were easily hopped. |

all trails were in great condition. as previously mentioned, the bog bridges on Basin Rim after the Rim junction are basically disintegrating. |

these trails are fantastic and the terrain is varied and interesting and the views from all the ledgey areas are spectacular. met two folks on the summit of E. Royce, a solo hiker on Basin Rim, and a small group of young women at the top of Meader and that was it for the entire day. crowd free hiking! |
