Parked at south pond and had to walk the 1 mile to the trailhead since the gate is closed. Left another car at starr king. |

Overall trail was in beautiful condition. Wooded trail makes for comfortable hiking. A bit overgrown in some areas but you can mostly still see your feet. Thank you to whoever cleared the massive area of blowdown between Waumbek and the weeks. That was a big job. |
