Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None of any challenge
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Mount Parker Trail between Resolution and Parker - WMG says it all expect many blowdowns and encroaching vegetation in this stretch - numerous blowdowns of all shapes and sizes, old an new, stepovers and duckunders. Stretches with brush encroaching on the trail. Between Parker and Mt Langdon trail junction numerous blowdowns old and new though less frequent. Mt Langdon trail from Oak hill until the wilderness sign also had a significant number of blowdowns.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: An easy albeit long hike for the canines. Plenty of water today along Davis path and in stream before Resolution summit. However, no water on long stretch from Resolution across Mt Parker and then up an over Oak hill (about 5 1/2 miles) so bring some along. Met many on Davis heading up and back from Crawford
Bugs
Bugs: None out today!

Comments
Comments: This has been on our traverse list to complete this year and the trek did not disappoint. Spotted a car at Mt Langdon trailhead and drove to Davis path trailhead - hit summits of Crawford, Resolution, and Parker via Davis Path and Mt Parker Trails and took Mt Langdon trail back to trailhead - 11 miles total with 3400 elevation gain. Great views from ledges on Davis before Crawford, Crawford proper, view ledges past the Crawford summit, Resolution and of course Mt Parker! Leaves are turning but not near peak yet. Davis up to Crawford nice and dry. Many spots with mud and water on Davis between Crawford and Resolution. Ledges heading up Resolution were nice and dry. Our main goal was the stretch of Mt Parker Trail between Resolution and Mt Parker. A few spots with wet rock on the steep descent off Resolution but otherwise nice and dry. As noted in trail maintenance this trail section has uncountable blowdowns and encroaching brush. Though lightly used and not blazed the trail is easy to follow. Descent of Mt Parker was also dry though with numerous blowdowns to step over or duck under. Mt Langdon trail nice and dry though also has a number of blowdowns. For those looking to avoid the crowds I'd recommend these trails past Crawford. We ran across 50+ people before Crawford, 3 on the davis path prior to resolution and then didn't see anyone the rest of the day. For those looking for a nice woods walk with a sense of isolation, the Mt Parker trail should be on the list.
