High Street sign is missing. Long Pond Road is gated shut due to washouts (saw an excavator parked, but not visible work done). Parked along High Street and did the ~1 mile road walk. |

| Comments: |
Long Pond Road was fine to walk...would have been passable up to the trailhead if not gated (one washout, but still enough room to drive around if it were open).
Trails were damp with some puddles, occasional running water, and quite a few slippery ledges.
Some strong foliage in patches, such as the red bushes and maple. Other areas are still green. Very colorful, especially with the grey skies.
Summit view seems inferior to the viewpoint a few tenths prior. |
