Lafayette Campground was full due to running event. Parked at Lafayette Trailhead parking area (also extremely busy with few spots available) and walked via underpass. |

Light rain stopped by 10am and skies cleared just before noon. Spotty to full sun by afternoon. On the warm side for mid-Oct. Wind was not a factor. |
