Late afternoon hike on a gray day. Dry trail to start, areas of ice around 3000 ft but there are enough dry rocks that traction wasn't needed. Consistent snow and ice at 3500 ft.
Thought it was sweet that fellow descending hikers asked if I had a headlamp.
The sun broke though the clouds just as we were leaving the summit for a stunning show.
