| Comments: |
Bring your light traction for the chimney or its bypass. We all climbed the chimney, two came down bypass. They agreed that down-climbing the short Class 3 chimney would have been safer. Light traction desirable where the snow had softened during the day, then frozen slick in the evening.
11 AM to 6:30 PM by men: 35, 57, and 71. Slower than book time because of slippery conditions and feeling for best footing amongst the snowy rocks.
Great dinner at Thai 9 in Lincoln, NH. |
