Comments
Comments: Trail was mostly dry for about the first mile or so. Snow and ice amounts pick up quick after that. Where the trail breaks out to the first ledge, I passed a group of three men who were heading down. They said they lost the trail and decided to turn around. I went up ahead to try my luck but my tracks were disappearing in the wind almost as fast as I was making them. I decided that I would rather stay out of the news today so I headed back as well. Drifts at this point were half way up my shins so snowshoes would be required. I threw on spikes for the way down.
