Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The loop around the parking area at the end of Randolph Hill Rd is plowed but the parking spots are not. About 6 inches or so in the parking lot.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Drifts

Water Crossing Notes: N/A 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A handful of blowdowns from the recent snow/wind we’ve had. I didn’t have a saw with me but I was able to drag some large limbs off the trail.

Dog-Related Notes: Well, the snow was up to Sarge’s shoulders but he didn’t seem to mind on bit!

Comments
Comments: 6-8 inches down low. Consistent 1 foot depth higher up with a few 2 foot drifts in places. Could have used snowshoes car to car, wish I had brought mine. Guess I’m not in that full winter mindset yet. Put on spikes for the steeps below summit as there was substantial ice hiding under all the snow. Gorgeous day. A true winter wonderland in October!
