Comments
Comments: A little mud on the Lincoln Woods. Snow accumulations started at about 2400'. Snowshoes necessary above 3300' Max snow about a foot with frozen crust on top. Some drifting, but nothing over about two feet. Strong winds at the summit with wind blown ice and snow. The wind on the ridge to Bond would have been in our faces on the return so we opted out. We forded the Pemi just upstream of the Bondcliff trail and former footbridge on the return to take the Eastside trail back to Lincoln Woods parking lot. The river crossing was cold but worth it to avoid another monotonous trek of the Lincoln Woods Trail.
