Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: headed up Jefferson Notch Road from Base Station Road at 615 AM, big down tree at 0.1 mile able to get by with passenger wheels in drainage ditch. 3" of snow to start. wheel tracks got fewer with El. 8-10" tree across road at 2.1 miles, too big for my saw. another down tree beyond. a bow saw or chain saw would have made quick work. there was new snow beyond and down to very few wheel track. considered going around to valley view but figured even if road was passable, caps had probably seen little traffic since snow
