Comments
Comments: A great day to be out. Lots of standing water on the trail throughout. Pretty heavy mud at the start until we started ascending. The one water crossing was passable, and only about mid-calf deep, but taking the boots off was definitely the right choice. Microspikes went on further up and stayed on through the summit. Great views from the ridge and fire tower, as always. To the woman I met who was planning to hit Mt. Willey in the afternoon for #47, I hope you crushed it!
