Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The Abenaki Brook takes some doing and its flow is strong. I saw two hardy souls jump from rock to rock but I had to settle for only one dry boot. NOTE on the wood bridges across other streams. For some reason, they were MUCH more slippery on the way back down than on the way up. Step carefully!

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I saw two guys show up asking if I'd seen a lost black-and-red glove.

Comments
Comments: The wind up near the summit is intense and requires care, but the snow is almost ideal. It's not loose enough to be whipped around and sting like sand, and it's firm enough to require almost no picking from rock to rock. You can walk straight up to the summit without stopping--just the thing in that cold wind!
