Comments
Comments: Nice hike to this New Hampshire 500 Highest Peak.

From our parking location with a small rain shower we started bushwhacking south heading towards northwest running ridge and soon hit a small parking area on Homestead Lane with a blank kiosk structure. We followed this gravel a short distance, as this road take a hard right there’s a gated driveway on the left with a no trespassing sign, and we continued on the older woods’ road gated straight with no signage.

As we continued now towards the western side of the mountain there was a few more gated older woods roads to the east ad treed areas with no trespassing signs. As this wood’s road started dropping the no trespassing signage went away and we picked up a much older woods road heading east towards the summit soon hitting at 2100 feet of elevation a previously logged area with some foggy views towards the west.

We crossed the logging area staying south of the thicker conifers in nice woods and finial climb to the recognized 2,253’ high point of Osgood Hill and summit jar. Once on the summit the sown started falling. For some reason there’s also a sign on this summit calling it Black Top.
