Comments
Comments: Well I needed these trails again for redline! Gordon pond trail was very nice on the open snow mobile trails. It did get a little confusing on which path but my gps helped us out a little in some spots. It became more of a trail and you could easily follow it better. Once you get to the last of the crossings if you go straight instead of left you will get the spur path to the pond which is totally worth it! There was snow at about 2300' and higher. We saw no one and the snow cover hid all the mud pits.Kinsman ridge trail was a complete mud mess which slowed us down drastically. I made Ed head up to Wolf and look at the jar but unfortunately water got in and the book was frozen! When we got onto Reel Brook it was pretty decent but the snow was hiding the small rocks just like the leaves were. It turned out to be a nice day before the nasty weekend hit!
