Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One major blow down at 43.98770 -71.38451. Large pine - walk over. The logging road is flat, easy, and allows you to skip the water-crossing over Downs Brook (which can be difficult to cross after heavy rains). You shouldn't have any trouble getting onto the Potash Mountain Trail from the logging road. It is on the right-hand-side of the logging trail approximately 3/4 of a mile. The Potash Mountain Trail is well marked and easy to follow.

Comments
Comments: Nice, quick jaunt up a beautiful mountain with wonderful views. There is currently 3 to 6 inches of snow on the trail, just enough to cover most of the tree roots and rocks. It is icy and a little slippery as you approach the summit but it shouldn't be too much of a problem. AllTrails indicated 4.5 mile roundtrip, 1,421 ft of elevation gain.
