We hiked the former trail section, with 3 small crossings that were rock hoppable. |

Road was open. 3-4" of snow on Sawyer River Road, with wide ruts down to the road bed.
Light traction was used throughout. The top 1.5 mile or so the snow was a bit deeper, perhaps a foot or so... and is nearing snowshoe use, but there are still tops of rocks pocking out on the trail. |
