Comments
Comments: Microspikes reccomend. At lower elevations, little snow with leaves on the trail. Microspikes were worn almost the entire hike. Snowshoes would be unecessary. Having trekking poles for points closer to the summit would be helpful as early winter conditions has a good amount of ice over the rocks. It appears earlier in the weekend cardigan received rain and the branches and snow where cover in an icy crust at treeline. Some points are difficult to navigate with only microspikes due to ice running over rocks.
